God's Love Is Meteoric!

I love Valentine's Day! Now that I'm not teaching I must live vicariously through Lily. I don't get those sweet little valentines in the see through white envelopes anymore. It was so much fun today to read each of the valentines her classmates gave to her. Her little eyes lit up at each new piece of candy. Little does she know that most of that candy will never be see again. I know, mean mom. Boo to me! Hey I care too much about her teeth and don't especially like going to the dentist and then having to pay for it.

I love my husband and how he surprised me this Valentine's Day. (Another story for another day.)
I love my sweet Lily and Boo Boo. (That's Henry, by the way.) They make each day so happy for me.
I love my rascally dog who as of late has the most annoying habit of eating Henry's baby wipes!

But today, I kept thinking of God's love for me. Quite honestly this is not usually my first thought on Valentine's Day. I'm usually thinking... "Will Andy remember to give me flowers this year? I hope he's been catching the hints I've been leaving the last few days!"

I have a little calendar in my bathroom with a new verse for each day. I love that thing!! When I read today's verse a smile spread across my face. I remembered this verse from last Valentine's day. Part of the reason why I love it so much is the version it is in.

So enjoy this and ponder these words today. Hey, ponder it everyday!

God's
love is meteoric, his loyalty astronomic, His purpose titanic, his verdicts oceanic. Yet in his largeness nothing gets lost; Not a man, not a mouse, slips through the cracks.
Psalm 36:4-6

Happy Valentine's Day!!
